Formats for your wall-panel collection

Choose the right ABA panel format

Panel width, length and thickness shape the wall layout, handling and range you offer. Start with the available size directions, then confirm the complete combination for your programme.

Explore the ABA size range

The reinforced hybrid ABA range lists the options below. Availability is confirmed for the chosen construction, decor, finish and connection.

ABA range planning reference
Dimension or finishListed optionsWhat to confirm
Width305, 600, 950 or 1220 mmOverall width, usable coverage, edge profile and the layout of joints.
Length2400–3200 mm; listed factory standard 2800 mmThe selected length, cutting allowance, transport access and packaging.
Thickness6–12 mm; listed standard 8 mmThe actual substrate, finished thickness, tolerances and compatible accessories.
SurfaceMatt or high glossThe available decor, surface construction and approved physical sample.

These are range options, rather than a promise that every width, length, thickness, decor and connection can be combined. A listed standard is a production reference; stock, minimum quantity and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.

The reinforced hybrid sandwich places a foamed centre between two outer skins, with a separate decorative surface. Confirm the actual substrate materials for the selected version; the detailed PVC/mineral reference is described on the technical page.

Let the wall layout guide the width

Compare the finished elevation and usable coverage before choosing a whole-board size.

01

Plan the visible joints

A wider panel may reduce the number of vertical joints across a wall. A narrower option may suit a different layout or access constraint. Map the actual widths against corners, openings and fittings.

02

Check the decorative sequence

Panel format changes the scale of the image and where a cut falls. Confirm random-cut, sequential matching or a defined mirrored arrangement for the selected decor and width.

03

Calculate usable coverage

Confirm whether the stated dimensions describe the overall panel or installed coverage. Allow for the chosen joint, cuts and waste before converting a wall area into a panel quantity.

Shower layouts also need an approved treatment at joints, corners, tray or bath junctions and penetrations. A change in width does not establish a watertight connection.

Plan the complete shower wall

Select the surface with the format

The printed design and surface finish need their own approval on the chosen panel.

Matt and high-gloss constructions

The range diagrams show a PET surface above the decorative film for the high-gloss version, and a scratch-resistant decorative film for the matt version. Confirm the actual supplied surface rather than assuming that every finish uses the same layer build-up.

Review the colour, gloss and texture on a physical sample. For a matched design, also review designated panels together in the intended order and orientation.

Full-size handling

Length, width and thickness affect access, carrying, cutting and fitting. Trial a full-size sample with the proposed installation team and confirm how it will be stored, supported and moved.

Obtain the actual mass per panel and per square metre for the selected configuration. The nominal weight calculated for one 6 mm reference must not be reused for another thickness or format.

Review installation planning

Match the technical file to the selected panel

Range dimensions and tested performance answer different questions.

The July 2026 technical reference on this site describes a 950 × 2400 × 6 mm product. It is one documented version within the wider format conversation, rather than the specification of every panel in the range.

Do not transfer that reference’s density, calculated mass, water-related results or D-s3,d2 reaction-to-fire classification to a different product because it shares the ABA name. The selected construction, finish, joint and mounting conditions must match the applicable documents.

For a useful quotation, share your destination market, application, preferred width and length, thickness, decor, finish and indicative quantity. Confirm available combinations, full-size samples and the corresponding technical and installation file before approving the collection.

Questions about ABA panel sizes

Keep range selection and product approval connected.

Is the standard ABA panel 8 mm or 6 mm?

The wider range lists 8 mm as its standard thickness, with options from 6 to 12 mm. The July 2026 reference published here is a specific 6 mm product. Confirm which construction and technical file apply to the panel being quoted.

Can every listed width use every length and finish?

The size list does not establish all possible combinations. Availability, joint profile, decorative layout, packaging and production requirements are confirmed for the selected programme.

Does a larger ABA panel have the same performance?

Dimensions alone cannot establish equivalent performance. Review the actual construction, surface and applicable test or classification scope for that selected product.
